Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Admin Platform team and take ownership of frontend architecture, technical direction, and the development of complex business-critical applications. 

In this role, you will design and build scalable frontend solutions used by operators, internal teams, and business stakeholders to manage products, monitor operations, configure systems, and analyze platform data. You will work closely with backend engineers, product stakeholders, designers, and engineering leadership to deliver intuitive, performant, and maintainable user experiences. 

Beyond hands-on development, you will help establish frontend standards, mentor engineers, drive technical improvements, and contribute to architectural decisions across the platform. 

This position is ideal for an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys solving complex business problems, working with data-driven applications, and taking ownership of frontend architecture within a growing platform environment. 

If you are looking primarily for marketing websites or simple user interfaces, this role may not be the right fit. Our focus is on sophisticated business applications, operational workflows, real-time data, and scalable platform tooling. 

Essential Job Tasks

  • Lead the design and development of frontend applications using React and TypeScript 

  • Define and maintain frontend architecture, component libraries, and development standards 

  • Build and evolve dashboards, administrative tools, configuration interfaces, and operational workflows 

  • Collaborate with backend engineers to design scalable frontend-backend integrations 

  • Design and implement real-time functionality using WebSockets and event-driven data flows 

  • Drive frontend performance optimisation and overall application responsiveness 

  • Review code, provide technical guidance, and promote engineering best practices 

  • Mentor frontend developers and support their professional growth 

  • Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and solution design 

  • Contribute to continuous improvements in tooling, processes, and frontend development standards 

Skills & Qualifications 

Required 

  • 5+ years of professional frontend development experience 

  • Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript 

  • Proven experience building complex business applications, dashboards, administrative platforms, or operational systems 

  • Strong understanding of component-based architecture, frontend design patterns, and state management 

  • Extensive experience working with REST APIs and frontend-backend integrations 

  • Experience with WebSocket-based integrations and real-time data processing 

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility 

  • Advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation skills 

  • Experience with Git and collaborative software development practices 

  • Ability to balance technical quality, business requirements, and delivery timelines 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with Redux Toolkit and advanced state management patterns 

  • Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering solutions 

  • Experience building reporting, monitoring, analytics, or operational platforms 

  • Experience working with large-scale SaaS, fintech, iGaming, or platform-based products 

  • Experience contributing to frontend architecture and technical strategy 

  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading frontend initiatives
